Marrakech – High Atlas – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley

      • Your journey begins early in the morning. You will leave the city and head toward the High Atlas Mountains.

The Route: First, you will cross the Tizi n'Tichka Pass. It sits at 2,260 meters high. This road offers amazing views of old Berber villages. Make sure your camera is ready!

Aït Ben Haddou: Next, you will visit Aït Ben Haddou. This is a protected UNESCO site. It is a stunning example of earthen architecture. You might recognize it from movies like Gladiator or the show Game of Thrones.

Ouarzazate: After lunch, you will pass through Ouarzazate. This city is known as the "Hollywood of Africa." You can stop at the Atlas Film Studios to see where famous movies were made.

Overnight: You will spend the night in a traditional Riad in the Dades Valley. A delicious Moroccan dinner is included.

Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi)

      • On the second day, you will get closer to the Sahara Desert. The landscape changes from green valleys to rocky plateaus.

Todra Gorges: After breakfast, you will walk through the Todra Gorges. These are massive limestone canyons. The cliffs soar 300 meters high on each side. It is a great place for a short hike and cool photos.

The Arrival in Merzouga: You will reach Merzouga in the late afternoon. This is where the paved road ends and the sand dunes begin.

The Camel Trek: Here, you will trade your car for a camel. You will ride for about one hour into the Erg Chebbi dunes. This trek is timed perfectly for the sunset. Watching the sun go down over the orange sand is a magical experience.

Overnight: You will sleep in a Berber desert camp. You can choose a "Standard" tent or a "Luxury" tent with a private bathroom. The night ends with a campfire, dinner, and traditional drum music.

Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

The final day is the longest, but it is full of beautiful scenery.

Sunrise: Most travelers wake up early. Watching the sunrise over the Sahara is often the best part of the trip. The light on the dunes is perfect for photography.

The Long Return: After breakfast, you begin the drive back. You will travel through the Draa Valley. This is the longest river valley in Morocco. It is home to millions of palm trees and ancient kasbahs.

Arrival: You will arrive back in Marrakech in the evening, usually around 8:00 PM.
